Meet the international network of journalists and read their stories about the poaching, smuggling and consumption of the world’s most trafficked mammal – the Pangolin. The project, which covers more than 10 countries, builds on the expertise and knowledge of local reporters and the reach of their local news organizations to bring these transnational crimes to the attention of local readers and the wider global audiences. The complexity of the trade makes cross-border collaboration among journalists imperative. Initial funding for this project was provided by the Hong Kong-based ADM Capital Foundation, with an additional grant from the Africa-China Reporting Project of The University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.
Cheddar Media collaborated with Pangolin Reports to design and produce impactful branding and responsive website design for Pangolin Reports. A Cheddar Media responsive website is crafted as part of our broader collaboration, designed to effectively communicate our client’s impactful ethos and initiatives. It fosters engagement with their target market and key stakeholders, while being responsive and performance-driven, with clear calls to action. In the case of Pangolin Reports, we ensured to highlight their commitment to investigative journalism and environmental awareness, showcasing their diverse projects aimed at uncovering critical stories and promoting transparency.
