New Life Plastics (NLP) is a facility that promotes sustainability by processing Hong Kong’s soft drink bottles (PET) and food and cleaning products bottles (largely HDPE) in a state-of-the-art facility in Tuen Mun (Eco Park).
The intention is to produce food grade quality rPET flake and high-quality HDPE pellets which are used in the re-manufacturing of PET and HDPE products. With Hong Kong’s high consumption rates of single-use plastics, the need for a modern, local plastics waste recycling facility has never been higher.
NLP aims to be seen as a global role model for how to process post-consumer PET and HDPE, whilst providing full transparency of yields and processed tonnages to all stakeholders.
